This week's edition of The EDGE is up on www.edgenews.co.za for your reading enjoyment! We give the kids a 'Back to School' send off (at last, some parents might say), we look at registration for COVID-19 Vaccinations, we explain the 'Sedgefield Stink' -that seems to be wafting from the lagoon when the wind is right (or wrong - depending where you stand), we mention the motorcyclist who tried to escape a fine, and ended up in jail, plus all the other news, blues, PHEW!s and WHOO HOO!s that makes Sedgefield the place to be - even in a pandemic! Real paper copies (you gotta love 'em) will be on the streets from lunchtime onwards. ... See MoreSee Less

Locals have not been idle during the long year of the current global pandemic!
These cement succulent plant pots and tea light holders are made by retiree artiste, Tina Booysen, and her songbird Mum, Delphine Cuerden. Whilst sheltering in place through the long months, it was a matter of googling 'how to' and recycling all sorts of tins and tubs to create these pretty, resilient and practical garden additions.
Having produced so many, they are indeed for sale, every Gardener's Market on the last Sunday of the month at The Station.
What has come from your hands that is creative and industrious during this time?
Baked goods?
Poetry?
Paper maché?
Woodwork?
Perhaps you wrote a song, or learnt a new skill?
Go on, show off a little, share your talents:
