MISSING 22 YEAR OLD WOMAN SOUGHT BY KNYSNA POLICE.

SAPS Knysna is seeking the assistance of the public in the search for Lucayla Benson(22) from Oupad, Knysna who was reported as missing by her mother on Wednesday, 07 April 2021.

It is alleged that the woman boarded a taxi at Uniondale Road, Nekkies on 28 March 2021 at about 23:00, but never arrived home. She was dressed in a purple Adidas skirt and pink sandals at the time of her disappearance.

Preliminary investigation indicates that she was also seen in the vicinity of Concordia recently.

The search for the woman continues and the public is urged to come forward with any information that could ensure her safe return. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the missing person may contact the investigation officer, Sergeant Mornè De Ridder, at 044 302 6652 or Crime Stop at 08600 10111.

*Knysna police station undergoing decontamination*
The Knysna police station is currently undergoing decontamination (09 April 2021) due to confirmation of one member who tested positive for the Corona virus(COVID-19).

All operations of the community service centre temporarily relocated to the Tsitsikamma K9 (dog-unit) at the corner of Waterfront Drive and Main Street. Services will resume at the police station on Saturday, 10 April 2021.
